The Carpet Bowls Club meets on Mondays at 2.00 p.m. in the Village Hall, from the beginning of January to late May and then from late September until just before Christmas.
The charge is £2.00 for a 2-hour session and members take it in turns to provide tea and biscuits.
A Christmas Lunch is usually on the menu and, if funds permit, the Club will subsidise some of the cost.
Carpet Bowls is a ‘fun’ club – we do not play really seriously or want to play matches against other clubs!
We are interested in attracting new members who would enjoy coming out for a couple of hours each week to enjoy a bit of bowls and lots of chatting.
